So, the club has booked Brookie this Saturday for an Under 20s match.
Anyone know if the club has to pay the much-quoted $30,000 hiring fee?

Aren't they playing at Brookie North aka Suncorp?

No. Our juniors played the Bronkos today at Brookie. My query is did the Council charge the club the reported exorbitant fee it normally imposes for a first grade match?
If so, where is the normal bleating from the Zorba Penns? If not, why the discount? It's still a NRL sanctioned rugby league match.
There is so much miss-information about hiring fees at Brookie that the answer to the above question may shed some truth on the matter.

Juniors only pay 1k or so.
No lights, no security, no cleaning costs
