When I was up there recently I went to the RSL I think (it's the pub/club next to where the whale watching leaves from).

It's a really nice venue and does a good feed but the main memory I have from it is the band playing the same "Jazz" tune over and over and a bunch of about 15 elderley people all dancing the exact same dance over and over again.

It did my head in. I had to leave.

I won $100 on the pokies up there too!

I went to the Central Tavern, it is a younger place and more like a pub, it's also just down the road too.

How good is the dial a driver up here?

Drive to the pub, get plastered and get a lift home in your own car for $10...Sweet!
