It doesnt make alot of difference but we got Tuilagi early before he hit form from the tigpies so I recall him being 250k and Veaga would be 150k mininum surely and 400k for Harper I think is also a bit inflated as he was barely playing 1st grade at the dogs when he came here ,but I guess may have been upgraded

As you say, estimates only. If you're off by $50k each it adds up to $1.1 million. Even off by $25k each is over half a million. I also think there'll be a bit of churn and some of these will be gone next year

Some of those figures are pretty generous,you also have guys incoming for next year with guys not contracted/probably leaving
Doubt that Koula,Harper,Paseka,Croker,Ola,Tuilagi,Jake,Vaega are on that much.
Brooks is reported as 600,DCE may be on a little less as well.
I do believe that we are going to be spending most of our cap on 17-19 players next year and we will have a lot of minimum wage guys for depth.
I like going that way,just means we need to make sure our depth can compete.
Might see a few guys like Dias,Stuckey,Matterson,Faulalo and Toby from workers get a look in.
Flegg guys like Uesele,Dunford,Navale,Bunting,Hopoate,Brown and Thompson might get a look in too.

So it doesnt leave much room , if any in the cap to get that one hard nut enforcer forward that we really need.

Total $ 12, 275,000 (My estimates only) Over the cap if it stays at $12, 100, 000 but there are some rules around this that I don't know enough about.

BUT if the cap does go up 10% to 13.3mil for 2024 then this leaves us the room to pick up a quality forward and fill another 2 spots from the group listed below, we would have $1, 125,000 for the 3 or 4 spots, so we wouldnt be over the cap for 2024.

Im not saying the club will not resign- Harper, Arthur, Johns, Veaga, Woods, Boyle, Matterson, Fulton, they are all off contract end 2023.
They may just put them in the BWSE team and NOT in the NRL Top 30 list, So they wont offer them an NRL Contract.

We also have players like Croker, Paseka, Lawton, Burbo off contract but I believe the club will retain them, then again they may move one or more on and look to strengthen our forward pack.

No way Condon is on 350k and Vaega was on a train and trial last year. I doubt he is suddenly earning 250k, more likely minimum wage having started the year with 2 games worth of experience. I could go through more but you get the idea - no sombrero, more likely inaccurate estimates.
