You'd have to think Jake Arthur. Wakeham is not in top 30.I’m interested to see who steps in? I’ve been wondering all year about what would happen if we had an injury or suspension. Wacom I guess??

Arthur for me would be logical replacement for DCEI’m interested to see who steps in? I’ve been wondering all year about what would happen if we had an injury or suspension. Wacom I guess??
I was gunna say the same thing. I reckon go for a downgrade - try to get one week. It was always going to be a suspension of some sort.We can still plead guilty for both but challenge the grading without risking a 3rd match. If we get a downgrade it would be a fine only. Worth a shot considering there was no actual lifting from either player. Even if only one gets a downgrade it's a massive win.
Four for haumole. We would be absolutely ****ed without Dalyhypothetical question, if the decision ruling was 4 weeks between both of them but we got to choose who misses how many how will you distribute them between cherry and olakau'uata?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Wakeham got brought into the 30, 90% Arthur you would think, but Wakeham has been playing right side in NSW cup and Arthur on the left side this season..You'd have to think Jake Arthur. Wakeham is not in top 30.
My bad, in that case I hope they just cop the 2 weeks. It looks like they're exploring a challenge of the grading but losing that challenge does not mean you still get the 2 week early plea. If they are unsuccessful in downgrading the charge, they miss 3 games.
Thank you for Posting @JethroJudiciary Report: Olakau'atu, DCE facing bans for Lane tackle

Manly pair Haumole Olakau'atu and Daly Cherry-Evans are both facing two-game bans after they were charged with a Dangerous Throw on Eels forward Shaun Lane.
The duo have each been charged with a Grade 2 Dangerous Throw offence which attracts a two-game ban with an early plea or a three-game ban if they unsuccessfully contest the charge at the judiciary.
Parramatta pair Ryan Matterson and Maika Sivo were also charged from the game, with Matterson facing a $1,000 fine for his high tackle on Luke Brooks while Sivo is facing a $3,000 fine for his Dangerous Contact charge on Reuben Garrick.
NRL Judiciary Report: Kiwi games counted in NAS ban
Storm prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona will only miss one game at the start of the 2025 season after it was ruled that three of New Zealand's Pac Champs game would count as part of his ban.www.nrl.com
I feel like the judiciary exists now to show that "they are doing something" when player are, or nearly are, injured. There was a torpedo tackle that had 100% intent to injure 2 weeks (should have been 6).
TwiceWe have to fight this ! The NRL are taking the piss, particularly when it comes to Manly.
Step up (for once) Manly, and don't be lazy and take the early plea. Back your soldiers.
Sivo elbows Garrick in the head and gets nothing though ? Inept. Corrupt.
We should, definitely grounds for a downgrade of the charge to 1 week.Well that's raiders and dolphins who will be the beneficiaries of this
We won't be winning the next 2 without ola and DCE
Surely we challenge this
I was thinking exactly that, I seriously cannot remember 2 players both getting suspended for the same tackleI cannot recall 2 players ever being charged for the same tackle in which one was binned for in the match. This NRL match review committee are a trainwreck. No consistency. No idea. We must fight it and have them expose their argument.
Apparently a downgrade means a $1000 fine.We should, definitely grounds for a downgrade of the charge to 1 week.
So no one week suspensions anymore.Apparently a downgrade means a $1000 fine.
Aren’t we going to lose them both at SOO time? What are people's thoughts on missing these two against weaker opposition?
It's interesting.
Is it better to lose them against weaker opposition and still have the potential chance at victory? But dropping these games means we lose during the 'soft' part of the draw...
or
Is it better to lose them against stronger opposition and have a very limited chance at victory but in games where we may have the lost the competition points anyway?!
Yes, it will, @Tragic Eagle but I think we need to be confident in that depth and treat this as a dress rehearsal for the Origin period. Arthur into the halves, Lawton to backrow and Humphries to the bench. It’s the inconsistency that is frustrating. This will test our depth.
Exactly @ManlyTragicAren’t we going to lose them both at SOO time?
