Des didn't do a thing in his 4 years back at the club. He didn't take a rag tag bunch of players to a semi final 1 year after we almost had the spoon AND he definitely didn't take us to a Prelim final in 2021.....

Yeah he did well in 2019, got the players motivated and playing well. ****house in 2020 and again in 2022. Turbo in 2021 masked his weaknesses. 0/4 to start the year before Turbo showed up.

It really is unbelievable isn't it? There is a reason the Broncos flicked him. Remember when he let the players run a training session up there before he got punted? That is pure desperation from a coach who is incapable of inspiring his troops. The coach is the top dog. Can you imagine Bennett, Bellamy, Cleary, or Des ever doing that? If we keep sliding then guys like Schuster and the Fainu boys may we'll head north to the Gold Coast.

How long did it take Des to give Haumole a go? Was stuck behind a burnt out Siro, and Waddell and Jetski kept getting picked over him, until injuries forced his hand in 2021.
