Has Bullemor improved big time ?

I recall a year or 2 ago the bloke was looking to give up football.
He was running half hearted with many errors creeping into his game, grabbing in defence and generally a liability the opposition were pinpointing....all round playing soft like his heart was not in it....NSW cup was his home...
Well in 2024 and especially recent games, he looks aggressive and is playing with a far higher level of intensity.
His defence also is far stronger and he is a powerful bloke who is playing like I hoped when we signed him from Brisbane.
A definite top 17 player on form and was not expecting such improvement, so it's a credit to "The Bull" and Seibold for his current form and really hope he can keep it up...

Definitely to apply to him and an important cog in the side now .
And that suggestion previously that he was one of the quickest players in the squad over 40 M , probably not far off the mark

The QLD coach was at the game yesterday. He had some positive things to say about Bully during the Nine broadcast.

I imagine Billy is starting to keep a good eye on Bullemor’s form, heading towards next year’s series.

He has been very good. His leg speed is such a big asset and point of difference to our other middles.
Where do people see him fitting in this week? I would resist the temptation to start him on the edge and leave him on the bench. That is dependent on Waddell being available, if not I think he starts.

I always thought Bully was a decent player not getting a lot of minutes. Often the first one dropped which never made a lot of sense given he has some fair weapons including speed. For mine it was the game against the Dragons when we went down to zero subs. Siebold had no choice but to leave him on the field and the longer the game went the better he played. I always thought there was a decent middle just waiting for some added time/responsibility. Add in Brown's intensity rubbing off and Bully is starting to mature nicely.

Similar with Lawton. Constantly used as a back-up dummy half, due to injuries and the purchase of Simpkin he has rediscovered his love as a very effective edge. Think we are going to miss Lawton a lot next year. Will add plenty to the Cowboys squad.

Has become a key man in our 17.
58 minutes yesterday is perfect, as the mobility in defence of guys like Sips & Aloia can become a problem when they have to play long minutes.
Provides a good 1-2 punch from the bench along with Brown.

He was a middle forward when he was at the Broncos and debuted under Seibs.

Des tried to turn him into an edge player which didn’t suit Bully.

Since Seibs has arrived has reverted back to the middle where he has played his best. Can play edge in the even of an injury, but he provides that punch through the middle off the bench.

I definitely see more intent on his tackling. He was previously susceptible to a few soft misses a game, but he's improving considerably in that area.

I love him as a bench player. Should never be a regular starter. His leg speed is perfect for an impact player.

Personally, always been a fan and was excited when he signed on from Brisbane. However, I do think he hit a flat spot and deserved the spell he was given. I don’t think he is suddenly getting the recognition he deserves, more that he is performing strongly enough now to deserve some recognition.

He is exactly the point of difference we need as others have suggested!
