Well he wasn't there from the beginning of the alleged 5 year breaches..so it's pathetically stupid to publicly pin it all on him.. But the point is there is a concept of due process and he wasn't afforded that by Greenstain.

Tired of the whole thing the blame lies entirely with the powers that be in the NRL , teams have found guilty of salary cap fraud in one way or another over the last 5 to 10 years points deducted , fines etc and yet THEY STILL do it .The idiots that run this game still cannot fix it and that’s a blight on the game

As Donald Trump would say....."it's beautiful". Listening to Hadley and Kent standing up for Fulton and the game we love was heart warming. But the way those two articulated the unfair dodgy methods employed by Greenturd and Weekes was simply outstanding. All 16 teams should unite to start a new national rugby league with Fulton as CEO and the headquarters based at Brookvale....as a big stuff u to Greenturd and his cronies.

Ray Hadley called the treatment of Bozo trial by ambush. Love or hate Hadley and Alan Jones they are the two most popular radio broadcasters in the country. I don't think Hadley would go as hard about Greenburg and Weekes unless he was pretty confident about Bozo's version of how the NRL only wanted to interview him when he was in Hawaii.
It shows complete arrogance on the part of Greenburg.

kent had trouble getting any reply in but i really liked when hooper asked 'why would the nrl want to bozo's reputation?' & ikin quickly came in with 'to be right'.

But if he is using his position to help bring down the pigeon toed pea brains who are running the game we love into the ground and are targeting our club as the pure evil of the league, then (on this matter) he has my 100% support.

"I received a phone call from my brother today who told me that he had attended a function at Cronulla Leagues club last night. That in itself was shocking enough but it got a lot worse. He couldn't believe what went on and after hearing the story neither can I.
The function was a fundraiser for John 'Bomber' Peard who needs money to get to the US for medical treatment. A worthy cause for a legend of Rugby League, although I don't understand the logic behind holding a fundraiser for a former Parra & Easts great at Cronulla Leagues.
To cut a long story short, an auction was held with Ray Hadley acting as auctioneer and lots of money in attendance as well as senior Rugby League figures including Todd Greenburg. One of the items that was auctioned was Peard's prized possesion, a framed, signed jersey from the 1976 Grand Final. However it wasn't his jersey, it was the jersey of the player he had swapped his with at Full-Time. It was the jersey worn by Rugby Leage immortal and Manly Legend Bob Fulton and it still had the mud on it from the 1976 GF.
The auction started at $1000, Hadley apparently bid $2000, and it went up in $1000 increments to $5000. At this point, Hadley was apparently stunned that Greenburg was not interested in purchasing this important piece of Rugby League history so Hadley bid $6000 on Greenburgs behalf. Greenburg was relieved when an unknown person then bid $7000 and the auction was over. A piece of history that is offered once in a lifetime, a grand final winning jersey worn by an immortal of the game, and it sold for just $7k in front of the CEO of Rugby League.
Hopefully someone on here is going to give me some good news and tell me that this jersey is now in the hands of a Manly supporter but given the location of the auction I doubt it. I find it hard to believe that it was in the best interests of Bomber Peard to auction this jersey at Cronulla Leagues with no advertising. At the very least, given the money in attendance, you would think someone would have bought it and given it back to him.

Hooper is the guy who once said Jarryd Haynes NFL achievements were the greatest achievements in Australian sports history....or words to that effect.

The issue at the moment is not whether Bozo is guilty.
Its that he has been accused of being guilty, without being presented the evidence, or been given the chance to analyse, refute or give explanation to the evidence that the NRL has made its accusation against. There for its not a fair process. As Hadley said today, the court system gives the accused a chance to respond to any evidence against them, which was not the case with Bozo.
The NRL also messed up by leaking the text conversation to Ch9. Especially since Bozo has stated that he was happy to be interviewed, but wanted to wait till he returned from his holidays so he could so it in person. But Turd, Weaks and Beats it, have all failed to mention that part.
As a result of the NRL accusation, they have effectively denied Bozo any involvement in the game, in most part being an Aust selector.
While we dont know how this will play out, on face value today, its seems the NRL has put their foot in it, and may face a defamation suit.
