Is it true that he attended their 2007 celebration? I have no respect for him now, but that would send respect into negative territory. They were stripped of that title because they cheated.

Over the course of time, I have noticed there has been a tendency among the "powers that be" to legitimise those premierships once again. The way they were remembering/celebrating that premiership had me gobsmacked.

In regards to the salary cap thing, the NRL has been desperate to find something on the club since the Super League days. If Manly had as many heavy hitters/money men as the Roosters, we wouldn't be going through this. They know if it wasn't for Penn, we would be extremely weak and vulnerable.
