Snake returns this weekend against the Sharkies. If that news is what you have been waiting for and you can't get enough, here is a round up of what all the papers are saying.

Look who’s back25 Aug 09 @ 04:25pm by JASON AVEDISSIAN Manly Daily Brett Stewart talking tactics with Manly head coach Des Hasler.MANLY superstar Brett Stewart is poised to inch closer to a remarkable 100 per cent try-scoring rate at Brookvale Oval after he was named in the Sea Eagles team on Tuesday night. Manly’s medical team gave Stewart the all clear on Tuesday morning, allowing the brilliant fullback to make his long-awaited return from a knee injury in Sunday’s round 25 game against the struggling Sharks at Brookvale Oval. The 24-year-old has not played since scoring a double in Manly’s round six victory over Souths on April 18. His last appearance at Brookvale was in the Sea Eagles round five win over the Tigers when Stewart scored a hat-trick. That tally took the former Australian custodian to 51 tries from 53 games at Brookvale. Three more tries against the Sharks on Sunday will give him a perfect, 100 per cent record at Manly’s spiritual home. “It’s freakish,” Sea Eagles long-standing official and team spokesman Peter Peters said of Stewart’s try-scoring rate at Brookvale Oval. “He’s up there among the most lethal try-scorers in the game. “Fans should flock to Brookvale Oval to see him on Sunday.” Overall, Stewart has scored an amazing 97 tries from 114 first grade appearances. As lethal as Stewart is, his tally does not place him at the top of the try-scoring rates in the history of the game, with Harold Holder (82 games), Reg Gasnier (86 games) and Ken Irvine (96 games) all reaching 100 tries inside 100 games. Sea Eagles head strength and conditioning coach Don Singe said Stewart’s fitness will be fine on Sunday. “He’s a good athlete,” Singe said. “We’ve got faith in him ... he’ll be fine.” Stewart’s selection pushes Michael Robertson back onto the wing with Ben Farrar slotting into the centres for the injured Jamie Lyon. Tony Williams and Heath L’Estrange have also been named on a five-man bench after replacement forward Shane Rodney (broken thumb) was ruled out for at least a month. L’Estrange was 18th man in Manly’s victory over the Storm on Sunday, with Glenn Hall back in the 17. Stewart to make Sea Eagles returnPosted August 25, 2009 15:57:00 abc.net.au Injury return ... Manly star Brett Stewart has been named to play this Sunday. Source: The Daily Telegraph MANLY fullback Brett Stewart has been named to make his return from injury in Sunday afternoon's NRL clash against Cronulla. Stewart hasn't played since round six after rupturing the medial ligament in his knee against South Sydney. The former Test fullback has played just two matches in 2009 after he was suspended by the NRL for four matches as a result of his drunken behaviour at the club's season launch earlier this year.Stewart was charged with sexual assault as a result of an alleged incident that occurred on the same evening, with his case due back in court next month. His return will no doubt boost the Sea Eagles' premiership chances, with Stewart showing just how important he was to the side when he scored five tries in the two matches he was able to play before injury struck.Stewart's comeback offsets the loss of Jamie Lyon for at least one week with a shoulder injury, Ben Farrar moving from fullback to centre to replace Lyon and accommodate Stewart.Stewart named for return25/08/2009 3:17 PM Adam Lucius Sportal Manly full-back Brett Stewart will make his long-waited comeback to football on Sunday after being named in the team to meet Cronulla at Brookvale Oval. The superstar No.1 has been sidelined for 18 weeks with an ankle injury but convinced coach Des Hasler of his fitness during a behind-closed-doors session on Tuesday.Stewart returns with Manly one point outside the top eight heading into the penultimate round of the regular season.Michael Robertson switches to the wing to make way for Stewart.Centre Jamie Lyon will miss the match due to a shoulder injury.
