The referees correctly called out Bird for just dropping the ball in a tackle to milk a penalty but then the rest of the game he got away with all sorts of nonsense.

Jamie tapped Bird on the shoulder when he was chasing a kick so he threw himself to ground. Penalty.

Jamie tackled Bird around the shoulder so Bird pulls a porn star face & throws himself off his feet like he had been coathangered. Penalty.

Jamie gets tackled near Titans line by Bird who gets up and hooks the ball out of Jamie's hold with his foot. Scrum to Titans.

A LATE & LIFTING tackle on DCE that goes to video ref and no penalty.

As a footballer I can't stand the Bird.

Agree and one of their best tonite. He also came out in support of snake on more than one occasion during his dark days so have had a soft spot for him since.

I'm referring to Bird's over acting to extract penalties. No one else in the game does it as well.

Bird plays the game as hard as anyone IMO, he is also quite good at fooling the pink pricks. We have a few in our team who try to do it at times, none of them more adept than 1 Jamie Lyon though.
