Disappointed - yes
But a decent season
I felt they went hard but fell short so that's ok
And to keep it real - if that ordinary Rooster s team won tonight, we were Buckley chance vs Penrith or Storm
I'm pretty frustrated but we gotta stick together and look back at many positives throughout the season
Anyways Silvertails- all I can say is love this group and will cya in 2025 - stay safe and enjoy ya summer ! 🔥🙌

Agreed. But the positives need to continue to get my buy in. That means, some clear significant changes over the off season moving forward.. if we persist in some of our poor areas i will lose any motivation gathered by this years efforts.

I will call it now, loud and clear. If we turn up at the start of next season with Croker at #9 and Garrick at #4, I will pull the plug immediately. I will not go on investing my heart and soul in dumb emotional choices that do not work for the team.

And just to finish off the night and season… F* you Manly. That performance tonight was so far from competitive I was embarrassed. Show some fking resilience for your fans. Show some pride.

Share the sentiment, thought it was a good performance this season, very close in all but 2 of their games.

Plenty to like about the younger players in Hoppa, Simpkin, Koula, Talau, Navale & Ben T will be better after playing a fair few games this season.

Hopefully we can snag a backrower or two and resign Lodge, the development of a couple of younger front rowers in the offseason may keep a couple of the older blokes on their toes.

Some criticism of Seibold, though overall he did very well in my opinion, the Garrick experiment he backed despite the clear defensive issues, he backed Croker to come good and it didn’t work out for them, the development of young Hoppa was fantastic and a couple of the scrum plays at the backend of the season were great.

I’m all ok with his choices to back those guys. It didn’t work. So, does he have the courage to move on and back other up and comers?

So, can Seibs just accept Garrick and Croker didn’t work and move on past his ego??? That is the ultimate question
I think this one is more the respect these two have earned from the senior players who Seibold values the opinion of.

In Garricks case many ex players in the media like the supporters didn’t understand the move from left wing to right centre and Koula from right centre to left centre, was a big shuffle in the scheme of things and it only got worse for Garrick as the season went on, I dare say some of the players read news articles and listen to the odd podcast, I don’t think they will persevere with this after round five if it stays the same next year.

Croker was very poor today with his ball distribution, a few of his passes hit the grass, I don’t think he starts at nine in many games next season.

In short he makes the changes I am hoping we get one or two surprises like young Hoppa next season.

So who replaces Croker it that happens? Simpkins? Other?

There were 30000 manly fans there last night. We made a lot of sacrifices to go and it was expensive and the game was over after 23 seconds.
Yep no team was going to win that game losing 2 players in the first two tackles.

Plenty of positives to come from 2024, we need some smart recruitment over the off season. Forward pack needs some work and a few hard decisions made

Pass mark for the season.
But wow we were bad last night. Should be a public apology from Siebs and Dce. Seriously .
Anyone see Todd Payton slam his team? Loved it.

And Croker should never see the 9 jersey again. He’s deadset dreadful, woeful. We were a much better looking team with Simpkin starting.

Jake to prop rotation, mobile ball playing lock and a more creative 9 , hopefully Navale , Simpkins can fill these voids

Also another 2nd row option. Jack Williams from Sharks is still unsigned he is best available on the market.

And Reuben back to wing with Talau and Tolu in centres

Yep agree with Garrick, he is a good winger , quicker than Talau , don't know how much $ in the kitty I think we could drop a prop if we keep Lodge ( Aloia,Toff ) and piçk up a mobile forward

Well done on going.
If we have a big final there in the next few years and win will make up for last night
Great turn out for us
As you said game was over in 23 seconds
Roosters way too clinical

Pass mark for the overall year for me.

The biggest disappointment was the way we finished the season to be honest.

Late season losses to Tigers, Sharks at Brookie with it all to play for, and obviously last night.
And not just the loss, but the manner in which we lost.
Our middles defence really, really fell away late in the season, which is concerning.
