This is what I don't quite understand. WHO exactly is doing recruitment, because Cartwright is actually the recruitment manager but he doesn't get credit for anything.

It is funny you say that because I also read that Cartwright was given full responsibility as our defensive coach after Seibolds exit. If so he is doing an amazing job. Strange that he hasn't been mentioned if it is true.

I think he's happy to fly under the radar. I knew him a bit when I worked at Panthers. He was like that even in their glory years. Was happy to take a backseat and let Brandy, Freddy and MG take all the limelight.

To be honest, as long as the team keeps performing the way they have I'm not going to question his spot on the coaching staff. He can do whatever he likes in the box as long as the team is doing well where it matters.

I didn't see anyone referred to as specialist defensive coach on the team website but gee I agree..The difference this year is incredible compared to last year. Just goes to show that improvement can occur quickly when u have player buy in and someone that actually knows what the fark they're doing lol...*High 5s mystery defensive coach

Very laid back. But he's no dummy. He is like his late father Merv, they exercise in the economy of words. But when they do say something, you stand and listen intently.
