If it was my daughter I would have considered it a 'bad crime'... Let's not forget just because he deleted it doesn't mean it's gone. It's probably on some porn site as we speak. This **** never disappears....
If he goes on to success without further issues then perhaps the judge has done good.
However if we are reading about more of the same in a few years then this will have been a massive failure.
