Good loss

It's only a "good loss" if we learn from it and having the utmost faith in Dessie, you are probably right. It is very interesting that the speed of the game is such now that injured players making their return has, in most cases, a detremental effect on the teams. Given, it's not the only reason but plays a part.

We only lost by two points. Not like it was a thrashing. We played badly in the second half but we'll still be sitting on second at the end of this round.Pretty hard to perform at maximum intensity all season though. The boys will be pissed at losing a match that we should have won and the Roosters will pay for it next week.

Yep, that's exactly what the St Merge fans said last weekend about Souffs!

Anyone think the Storm will settle for a good loss. No Way. If you want to win the premiership then games like this are must win not good loss.

The scum are a shoe in for the minor premiershipnow. They will then beat 8th place and will probably make the GF. That just sucks!!!

No such thing as a 'good loss'.

Of course there is, we just had one.

Losing by 50 to the Tigers would have been a 'bad loss'.

Try to keep up.

Sporting losses are inevitable but irrespective of how you sugar coat the performance, a loss is NEVER a good thing. Character building, yes... but good....NO.
