My tip on who we will lose for next season:

Myles (obviously)
Lawrence (great player, but too many young props coming through)
Winterstein (hopefully to make way for Jorge into pack, Parker on wing. Happy if we keep Frank)
Blake Green (big call, but Hastings will overtake Green by then, and Tom Wright pushing for 17).
Lewis Brown (Jamil Hopoate, possibly Tom Wright to become the utility bench player)
Jarrad Kennedy
Cullen (too good for reserve grade)
Jono Wright
Pita Godinet

Who are these good props coming through? Lawrence doesn't look to be slowing down. I would hate to lose him. Green is infinitely better than Hastings, who should be looking at hooker to come of the bench. Name one other team that within a season moves their winger straight into the back row?

Why would green be released? He is playing exceptionally well if you haven't been watching. Hastings will bide his time for another season as utility and then be given the no.6 the following season.
Brown won't be gone either he's still got another year iirc and he's been solid this year despite what the experts say

Jackson Hastings is coming along nicely and although he's only getting minimal time I'd like to think the club has given him some sort of assurance as long as he continues his good form and maturity.

Brown only has one year left on his current contract but if an extended super league opportunity comes knocking I'm pretty sure the club wouldn't stand in his way.

Throw in the possibility of a few salary cap dollars in our back pocket and 2018 is starting to look pretty good.

I honestly think we got green as a quick fix . Although he is going great guns with dce and signed until end of 18 , he wont want to drop his guard. Dont get me wrong i think he has been instrumental in we're we are now , but hastings is to good to be floating in the background.

Hopefully a player like alex glenn will fill wintersteins spot. Im happy for winter to be resigned. But feel he would ne better off the bench

Leaves us to have another busy offseason once again. This will be the final stage of the rebuild phase as the players we have are exactly who we want along with a settled 1,6,7,9. The money leaving the club will mostly go back into topping up current players as their value increases accordingly. Ill be happy to see us sign a top line back rower and an established prop. I see Bozo continuing to add size with some young talent with the remainder of the cap.

Green and DCE are one of the top 4 halves combos in the comp why would we split them? Green is in great form and has been one of our best, it would be unfair on dce to make him change to another half partner again he's playing well and so is green why change that. I'd be extending green another year he deserves it and it would be stupid to sach him. Hastings is good yes but it's in reserves he never got good at roosters in first grade it's to big a risk and green is a top line half.

We'll get done for cheating the cap and be thrown to NRL obscurity. All our players will end up at Parramatta on 20million each a season and they'll win a premiersh*t.

I hope we somehow manage to hold onto Cullen for at least another 12 months just in case.

Who in their right mind would let Cullen go? The Truth is we need him badly.

Even now we have had a good run without injuries in the halves and at hooker. But if one player goes down, he's in the top team.

Look at the weekend just gone. Teams have one player missing with origin.
Pat Politoni, Brodie Croft, Kurt Capewell, Daniel Mortimer, Brandon Smith and Will Smith all had great games. Non have played much, if any grade this year.

As a club If we didn't have a player like Cam Cullen, knocking on the door at halves and hooker. Then our club would be in trouble.

I love the way Cullen plays and he deserves first grade footy so I would see him turn out somewhere else happily. I think he could add something to the knights. And maybe even the storm off the bench now Cronk is going. He'd be a good fit at the Tigers if they hadn't bought Reynolds.

Seriously would love to see what's happening with Drew Hutchinson from the dragons. He tore Cullen and the Burleigh bears a new one last year and will be behind two million dollar men in Widdop and Hunt next year at the dragons.
