I wouldn’t be tipping them next week…….think the Donkeys are going to be bang up for consigning their season, small act of redemption for 23, perfect moment, not that I think that’s what drives them, they will be to good at home, I’d be shocked if Penrith get up.

He would also be valued because of his fan appeal. He is very popular and has the "glamour" look that sells merchandise. Compare him with, say, Payne Hass who is the outstanding NRL forward yet wouldn't have the same off-field appeal.

I was thinking more in terms of the salary cap.
Only usually plays half a season each year (like someone else we know) so $2m seems far fetched for on-field value.

NO sunset clause seems a big stuff up. Their ceo is lucky they don't have a bozo in the mix.
Poor phil (roth-whatever) will be working hard to put a nice spin on it for his sharks. (or ignore it..either or).
Slothfield will want the government to tip in millions. The redevelopment of the area was billed as the Sharks saviour for life. Someone has got rich out of it, but no one is saying who.
