In offence he was ok. But still defensively and in the air very average. He wouldn’t play first grade in any other club.

He doesn’t even get in the air.
First try v the chooks he didn’t make a play for Tedesco’s first try.
Tonight was nowhere to be seen for Lomax’s first try, he rarely runs and jumps for the ball.
He’s shown he can catch AFL style above his head but doesn’t seem to want to jump.

Easily his best game in 1.5 years. Also the 2nd time in 4 weeks he has easily topped our most metres. Ran for over 200m today and showed when he gets some clean early ball can be a gun winger. He always takes the tough runs too, yes he occasionally gets smashed BUT atleast he puts himself in a position to have a run unlike the rest of the team!

Sandwich was one of our better players tonight, but that's not saying much. I think on the end of a good backline he'd be up to NRL standard, but every winger who had to rely on getting half-chances from Suli and Parker would struggle.
He needs to be dropped, along with Parker and Suli.... but I've been saying this (along with many others) since the trial match.
In a perverse way I hope DESpicable picks the same team to play The 'Riff because that will surely be the slaughter needed for such changes, giving us a semblance of a chance when we play the Worriers and the Tits in rounds 5 and 6.

He ran better tonight than the first two rounds but that isn’t enough to stay in first grade. One of our problems is that we accept ‘meh’. We need better than that.

Look at our results, they are atrocious. Garrick is not ‘the’ problem but he is certainly part of it.

I said in another thread that he wont contest kicks (ala D. Boyd) and it's a problem.

Also wingers should be able to run reasonably fast in a straight line. I hate bagging players and was a fan but 'second year' syndrome is only supposed to last for one year.

I always think its a bit rich blaming wingers, it's been going on here since since the famous Williams Sisters thread. And sometimes they deserve a rev up.

But really our wingers are the least of our worries. Once we fix our fullback, hooker, centre's, halves, and second rowers then we can look at the wingers.

Got mixed feelings about Reuben , seems to be really trying hard and effort is certainly there but does some good things then other times below par . Some outside backs get into full stride in different ways but he really should have got clear of Kerr and to really give Manly the advantage . Sometimes matches are turned on such individual instances and his tackling is sometimes miscued to say the least . Not bad in broken play, showing some decent ticker in his ruck runs and improved run meters , not too sure if Tippy Toes or Funa would be an improvement , again really hope that Koula can show the necessary form to make the transition to Manly i st grade ASAP

Manly hasnt really contested kicks for a while now. I looks slack but i do feel its a team tactic to let it bounce

First view of the first try garrick looked to have a good shot at the ball. Other angles show he would have been pushing it to get there.

Considering how many they drop under pressure maybe its accepted although when they score it looks bad

He is a low confidence playing muppet ,let him gain his confidence back up playing for Blacktown.
Someone else deserves his spot ,Every touch is a cringefest.

First time in ages that he's had a half decent game. Otherwise he's been consistantly woeful. He leaks points like a sieve.
