He always takes the tough runs too, yes he occasionally gets smashed BUT atleast he puts himself in a position to have a run unlike the rest of the team!

I think Garrick should have been dropped last season, I agree with you he did play well tonight..

He was adequate tonight. First time in 15 games. He scored 2 tries last year over an entire season.

He also got run down by Josh Kerr. Josh Kerr is a 110kg prop. Every kick to him is a lottery. He is taller than Ravalawa and never once looked liked causing him trouble in the air. He is a reserve grader and has quite a few mates.

Ahhhhhhhhh idkkkkk im iffy with this. He did have some nice clean breaks, but his kick returns are ineffective. He gets bullied, and it just sets up the tone for the rest of the set. Our back 3's kick returns have been quite dire for a while. The most recent memory of a good back 3 for kick returns that we had in our team would have to be in 2017 when we had Uate, Taufua and Tom. They made purpose in their runs and just set us off nicely in the start of the set. I miss that kind of aggression. But I do agree, Garrick did play his best game since like 2019.

Good game from him but if he continues to wait another 13 or so games between a rocks and diamonds performance than it means nothing. Sure I am fine for him to be picked next week, but if he returns to the mediocre version for 2-3 weeks i’d drop him.

In offence he was ok. But still defensively and in the air very average. He wouldn’t play first grade in any other club.

Look at him receiving or chasing kicks - one of the key elements of modern footy scoring. Not even close to first grade class. Having a fair game just keeps him in the team for a few more weeks.
It’s as simple as looking at other wingers in every other side. Power and speed.
We are playing a game that finished 18 months ago.Incredibly poor coaching.
