Never been this nervous for a game in a long time
What a season so far we have had, so many ups and downs.
Tonight everything is pointing to a souths win - they have had the longer preparation and 3 extra days rest, the crowd will be on there side as well as a ref that hates us, they have a organisation (NRL) plus media who want nothing more than a Easts vs South Grand final.
As well as that we are playing poorly, injured, team is fractured and is low on Confidence.
Well I say stuff that and all this negative crap some of us are saying. This is our 10th straight finals series we have been in and no other team in the modern day game has this current finals hot streak.
Tonight a new season starts and you know our boys have been waiting for this now for a good month or so. Our team has too much talent to be playing the way we have been.
What is motivating us- last years loss in round of the finals to Easts and the Grand final ( we all know we win lasts years GF if we would have won week 1), souths round 22 SCG game and the fact that we get a week off.
Let's stand tall today,wear our colours with pride and you know that at full time our boys would of done us proud.
The upset of the season is on tonight I expect us to win by 24-16.
Bay 30-34 is going to be rocking tonight.
