Mum seemed to have the phone number of everyone's next door neighbour and ring them to track me or my sister's down.
And the 1st time I rang up my 1st serious girlfriend was an ordeal because 10 to 1 it would be the parents who answered lol...

Spot on and had a wisdom tooth pulled the other day with no anaesthetic required. Went home and sculled 2 jugs of vb , 6 quick ciggies then proceeded to go through a big jar of pecan nuts from my toothless uncle from out west .

For the record, Garrick "really" excited me last night. I hope he's a mainstay. Fills a massive hole. Love to see him in the centres with Walker.

Lifting and throwing are very different things mate... it’s great that you are training @Ryan ... but it doesn’t always make the difference... but you’re a big boy and can do what you want...

Yes they are good eating mate , my uncle with teeth actually does send them over to Dad and I end up with heaps of them . Heaps of BlackBerry trees up this way and make a great pie .

+ Appears capital investment is going into the players amenities - check
+ Playing group seems all plugged in and get on super well - check
+ Party culture is being addressed (and has been openly admitted to) - check
+ I really, REALLY like Garrick (as a fresh pro) - check

Concerns
+ That backline is awful (especially without Walker)
+ Depth is awful (should never have released Kelly without replacement imo)
+ Fans are expecting way too much, way too soon - Des isn't a deity like some think
+ Party culture is still going on from my view (just from what I see)
+ Hard to change a performance culture (i.e. defense etc - yet fans think it's just going to happen overnight)
+ We lack pace (thank goodness for Garrick) with Taufua, Suli and now maybe Parker in a backline.

The pro's are bigger & more promenant than the cons. I have a right to discuss those issues on this board, as much as anyone else.

What I'm saying is people don't have to defend poor performance, just because Des is here, and we are trying hard. Poor performance should be called for what it is, mate. Defensive lapses. Parker / Suli together etc. We'll get there, but just not overnight.

On the flipside, once we start playing WELL, if I'm negative, then sure, I deserve ire around the place. But lets not tell each other to **** off, and that they are a joke? Surely we are better than that. It's not about the thickness of one's skin, it's about respect. You get what you give.

Yes mate . You do have a right just as any of us to make your point and only time will tell who is right and who is wrong .
I think time is on our side as things take time . Des has not had a team of 13 take the field for a full game as yet . Trials are just sorting the team out
