Tommy Turbo was awesome. He's going to be a good one.
Other positives for me were Hiku, Mason, who looked up for it before the whistle even blew, Williame and Sao. Even Horo ran hard when he was out there. As for the rest of them, the less said the better.
But yeah, Turbo's going to be great wherever we play him and Hiku is going to be a really good centre. That gives us something to look forward to, right?

Hiku? If he can learn a complicated move called "draw and pass" he could be a first grade centre. I expected more.

didn't learn much/anything from the after match presser......much the same as last week....even 2v said that he said it last week.

You know something is seriously wrong when in consecutive weeks you play the Dragons and the Raiders into some sort of winning form 😕🙁

I don't want to go so far as to compare them to the Northern Eagles ... but 1989 and 1999 definitely come to mind.

We started badly in 2009, but back then the team had almost no idea how to win without Snake playing. They don't have that excuse now.

Peta Hiku kinda reminds me of a chunkier, slower version of Dale Shearer. Can play almost anywhere in the backline. Not the best defender but can definitely play.

Biggest difference of course is that Rowdy would leave him for dead in a foot race.

First time I've ever not seen a Manly game through to the end. I got until the spanned to smug looking Ricky Stuart and a dejected Geoff Toomey and renounced my faith in Jesus Christ.

A just God would not allow this to happen.

Foran needs an ultimatum, harden the **** up or sit it out. How can he look himself in the mirror. The coach he basically through under the bus stands by him and he dogs it. Not to mention the busloads of people who spent hundreds of dollars to go and cheer him on. Weak as pass display from a man demanding a million dollar salary. Get a junior in there already.

Keep both Trbojevic's and piss Blair and Horro off immediately. I don't dislike either but they will never offer anything more then a pass mark. Shop Hiku around, Tony Williams light.

Hodges needs a run, he doesn't pass much for a bloody hooked but he is committed. As is David Williams. Jack Littlejohn and Cherry Evans is a serious option at this point in time.

Manly have the team to turn this around if somebody would just pick it instead of doing the same thing for the same results week in week out. Mason is having a real dig.

The worst thing is, they'll sack Tooves because foran & one or 2 others don't want him coaching, yet the main cancer is walking away at the end of the year.

Why sack a good coach when the player is going anyway?

Get rid of foran and get some of our players back & we will show more heart.

Foran is a bigger cancer that Watmough was. At least he put in!

Watched the first half, now having a very nice Malaysian dinner out in Melbourne,the curry is good , the roti bread excellent and even better there's rice!!

As to the football , well that's just about done me, I can handle losing , I can handle we had some stars out, but I can't handle players not having a go.

And there were more doing that in the first half than I have seen for 10 years.

I've noticed that too, and sadly its crept in over the past 2 or 3 years. We have developed this bad habit of our defensive line stopping and letting the ball runner get 2 or 3 metres over the advantage line before they hit any resistance. We're not meeting them moving forward, we're meeting them virtually flat footed and teams are eating up the metres against us.

Apart from young Turbo no other forward has the strength to drive them back .

If blokes get on well in a team they would grab that ball and think the other guy is fine, he will get over it if I overplayed (or at least talk to each other).
