Galvin

Does this sound familiar? 🤣🤣🤣

“I totally understand my decision will frustrate many Wests Tigers fans, but please know that it wasn’t an easy call to make,” Galvin said.

“It’s a decision that I have discussed at length with my parents, closest friends and family. I’m extremely grateful for their love and support in making this call.

“The biggest reason why I made this call now is so that the Wests Tigers have enough time to plan their roster without me in the future. That’s the absolute truth of it.

“The club were eager to get a deal done and so they called a meeting with my management last week. I could’ve mulled over this decision all season, but I didn’t think that was the right thing to do.

“I thought it would be best for everyone to make the call now rather than drag it out. Any suggestion that I already have a deal done at another club for 2027 is simply not true.

“I’m extremely grateful to be able to go to work every day as an NRL footballer and the Wests Tigers have played a massive role in the opportunity I have to play this game.

Lachlan,

A quick little tip, just press "Ctrl +A then Ctrl + X then Ctrl + V" and then send my words out as your own to the media.

All the best,
DCE.

So you can only leave after winning premierships? cool
That’s not what I said.Luai gave everything to the club,to the point that he helped them achieve 4 premierships, something the currently pathetically run Manly wont achieve in 30 yrs at this rate, but I digress.By doing so,Luai earned the right to look for a new challenge and earn more $$$ than he was offered at the Panthers.

No you couldn’t. Large is going to start NRL in the centres or fullback. Woods is an out n out half.
Watching him his running style and speed he is very good, I agree centre is probably where he would debut though I would like to see him get a run at fullback in Flegg this season.

Watching Fletcher Sharpe play though at six maybe Onitoni will do well at six.

Looks to be a player of good ability and having him in first grade he will only get better.

He's garbage and if we sign him idk if I can care enough to support the Moses-Warringah Sea Eagles anymore.
He is not garbage he's a great player. He's not worth 1 million maybe 700k because of the lack of halves on the market. Getting him got 800k if we had to would be fine with me. Fogarty isn't the answer he only kicks well

I disagree players can leave when they want just like you and I can at your job. He is doing nothing wrong he has a contract and will fulfill it unless the tigers release him. Clubs push players out all the time. So Jarome should quieten down. Jarome is that committed to the tigers he has an exit clause the hypocrite

So he doesn’t think Benji can help him reach his potential, but Seibs will……….interesting take……crazy how it goes……..why would you leave a side clearly on the up to link with a side that’s clearly on the slide, unless you get promised the keys to the house and the opportunity to choose your furniture, doesn’t make sense, no doubting theres trouble in the ranks at tiger town.

I’d think the Dogs would be in the drivers seat, with a premiership in mind, should they want him, why would they? Sexton’s game is improving and his best footy is just ahead of him, Burton’s not going anywhere either I’d say, and if you want a premiership you wouldn’t look sideways at Parra, maybe he will come here, with the promise of leading the side, if that’s the issue, he doesn’t get that with Luia, won’t get it with Burton, won’t get it with Mosses, ah who knows……we’ll get to see soon enough.

So what does 'generational' actually mean? To me it means that once in generation talent that is so far above everyone else of their age that it doesn't seem fair. Schuster was generational, Katoa, Weekes, Strange, Sam Walker etc.
Yet now it's Galvin who's head and shoulders above them all... until the next one in a few weeks time

Who wouldn't want to live near the beach, specially a young man in a million$$ apartment over looking Manly beach, beautiful ladies everywhere?? I WOULD, better than Campbelltown..
This sort of reminds me of when Brent Todd left the Raiders for the Gold Coast in the early 90's, obviously the Gold Coast were paying him a $hitload, but according to him, there were other reasons why he went.

I don’t see the point in Manly trying to sign Galvin , yes he is ready to go if he comes next year , At a price though
Manly has 2 young 1/2 halves in the waiting for 1/2 the price of what Galvin would expect
They’ve talked those 2 up , So why give up on them for Galvin
This squad needs some tweaking but Galvin is not the answer
