Out of action Jackson: Leg injury puts Hastings’ return clash with Manly on hold​

Jackson Hastings will miss the Tigers’ first trial of the year, against the club that forced him out of the NRL.

Looks like we’re to blame again, gee this stuff gets old.

And Manly are still waiting on a 'thank you' from the nrl, sponsors and fans everywhere. Even Hastings himself who (I think) finally learned to pull his head in.

Has anyone else noticed that other than Froggy and Shoe who are known to be injured, the only regular first grader not listed for either half tonight is Jason Saab.

Is he also carrying a slight injury so Des isn't risking him??

Maybe. He was tipped to be in the all-star game but when he wasn't selected I thought he must have an injury. But I haven't read any news about that.

I think Des wants a Better start to the 2022 season....generally we are slow out of the blocks early rounds (2021 lost 3 or 4 early to be chasing early) and the trials we usually rest the top 5 - 6 players and the other "NRL" players are used randomly and given minimum game time.
Personally feel these stars "will play" to avert the usual poor start and the I like it - To start the 2022 season we have Games 1 and 2 are against 2 big hitters in Penrith and Roosters.....for many reasons "game time" is essential to be prepared and good decision by Des and the Club imo.
