Not sure if i am barking up the wrong tree but.....

Does anyone live up on the Fraser Coast? I am involved in a local marketing initiative (and wanted to get feedback from someone who lives there)

to the unwashed (as in me) it seems every 5 ks theres some other name springs up

gold coast
Sunshine Coast
Saphire Coast
Bogan Coast

the list is endless

Fraser Coast is Tairo/Maryborough through to Bundaberg.

I am in Hervey Bay which is 36kms north of Maryborough.

Maryborough is about 2 hours north of the Sunshine Coast.

Sunshine Coast is about 1 hour north of Brisbane.

It takes about 4 hours to get to Brisbane from here.

sheesh Howard is even worse!

They want to put a mine out at Aldershot which would be a massive boom for Howard, Maryborough and Hervey bay, but the bloody backward yokels are fighting it.

What is the most popular radio station up there. Considering the demographic i would assume it is a mix of pop radio (fm) / talk back radio (am)
