im dissapointed with Monas.. he should run the ball more.. i said it last year as a half back he rarely took the line on.. because hes pretty good at it..

He needs to take more dummy half runs from hooker. Each time he did run it he was dangerous.

As usual Choc and BK leading the way..... I would LOVE to sign Ashton Sims

Been saying it a while...... very good young prop

Monas made 31 tackles and didn't even play the full 80 minutes. Of course, he missed 6, but that's still a decent effort!

it would be good to chuck up the replacement hookers as monas/dunley are there for 80 minutes

It is hard to compare forwards in this game. They ended up with 14 players at the end and we had 17. That is what makes the loss so disappointing. I thought our guys went okay.

I wouldn't take too much notice of stats as they don't reveal the true picture.

How could King have made no errors when he was penalised for a flop? Isn;t that an error of judgement?

Chocs 2 missed tackles were vital as one led to a saints try. Kites 3 errors led either directly or indirectly to 2 saints tries.

Kings/Kites meters are inflated as they take the run from the kick off. This makes BK/Chocs stats even more impressive

I watched the replay of the game...

Critical points to our loss

- Errors from both Kite and Beaver.. too many for those guys.

- Burns gave away 4 penalties alone. 2 led to tries or points.

- King is getting better and better. Great game.. needs to cut down penalties as well.

- Bell got murdered 1 on 1 by Cooper for that try! great move by Coops. We still love ya Bell.

- Matai was sensational. the Black Stallion has arrived. let your hair down more son.. ! great effort.. less penalties.. strong defence.. good running.

Its still apples and apples in a comparison with their opposing players as they would also take the ball from the kickoff. The point about their fellow forwards is fair enough, though at the end of the day as long as our boys are consistently getting over the advantage line with a minimum of errors we're pretty much guaranteed a competitive team performance.
