I remember going to the races with my old man. We used to go every weekend to the Curragh, the whole family would go except for one weekend. The old man said to Mum I'll only take the young blokes this week. We got there early, Dad walked around talking to blokes he knew on the track. He backed a horse called Arkle, Mill House was favourite, Arkle got up. We drove down to the Curragh in an old Ford Anglia and came home in an E Type.
