Two weeks ago it was the Red V army calling for blood after the Dragons' slugglish start to the season.
Two consecutive wins have calmed the waters for now, leaving it a photo finish between Manly and Cronulla as to which set of fans is currently the most fired up.
And judging by the social media backlash over the weekend, the maroon and white faithful are marginally ahead in the pissed off stakes following Manly's loss to St George Illawarra.
They've watched as Kieran Foran and Daly Cherry-Evans walked out on the club, turned up to see their beloved Brookie Oval transformed into Curl Curl beach and endured a 1-3 start to the season.
Despite winning two premierships in recent times and making the finals every year for the past decade, patience is clearly in short supply on the northern beaches.
There has been word of a 'Save our Saints' type campaign from Manly fans but nothing has eventuated.
