A few of our players have been talking up our prospects recently, at a time when the on-field performances have been less than overwhelming. Personally I think it's great that, firstly, they have such confidence in their ability, and secondly, they aren't spouting the same boring, robotic party line, 'Oh we aren't looking that that far ahead, blah blah blah'.
It seems in line with Toovey's somewhat refreshing media style. Time will tell if it backfires, but I like it. If they are going to lose I doubt it will be due to a media interview.
