Yeah but he was there for their 8 year 5-year plan & was involved in implementing the structure that got them the GF IMO.
He advised St Merge than The Warriors now at the dogs going nowhere still
Yeah you can slice it a few different ways.
He was vital in laying the foundations for premiership sucess or he needed to move on for the club to reach its full potential.
Like most things the answer lands somewhere in the middle
All those nuffies sitting there getting stuck into Gould, my favourite was Buzz “he is 63 years old”, mate you look 15 years older than that and can’t stop shaking coz you’ve sent so much sauce down your throat
Gould sits on the toilet and squeezes out a raisin and that has more rugby league knowledge than Kent and Buzz put together

That's what so many people got wrong about the 5 year plan. Most took it that Penrith were going to win the Premiership within 5 years and saw it as a failure when it didn't happen. However, the reality was (although as you said, it took more like 8 years), was that it was about re-structuring the junior pathways at the club as well as securing the clubs financial future. And on those fronts, the plan was a success because look at where the Panthers are now.

Nah, I hope they don't sack him. I like watching the Bulldogs lose and him suffer. I love watching Baz at the press conferences after every loss. A 12.5% win record with the Dogs ..... SO FUNNY.
