Kyle Flanagan has achieved making it into the NRL's first grade.

No easy feat.

The pressure involved in that, the hard work he has put into reaching that achievement, completely contradicts any suggestion that he lacks self esteem.

He didn't just fall into first grade.

Fact is Ironman, feeling sorry for yourself can become downright self-destructive. It makes overcoming adversity difficult if not impossible and it keeps you stuck in a rut

If you do not get this then it must be out of your character .
