England vs Australia - Four Nations

Well, 68 minutes in at the London Olympic Stadium and the Aussies are up 28-12 after a try and conversion by Widdop for the Poms. Safe to say its going to be an Australia vs NZ Final next week in Liverpool.

The Kangaroos so far have played within themselves and have easily won the forward battle, while the Poms have virtually nothing in attack.

Cronk, 1nglis and Scott have been our best. And although he scored a try (mostly due to a break by Cronk), Dugan has again showed he's not a centre.

Of note, the Poms much have been watching tapes of DCE. Twice they have failed to find touch with penalty kicks lol.

100% Jake should have Third Man's spot.

And Morgan only seems to be there because Thurston thinks he's better than DCE (more to the point, club friendship and it was easier for JT to jump on the hate DCE bandwagon). Otherwise Morgan has brought next to nothing to the Kangaroos. TBH right now I think Meninga should drop Morgan for Moylan, but it won't happen, Queenslander and all that.

Can't really fault Cronk. He was very good against the Poms who themselves were pretty dismal.

His face injury has forced the issue anyway. Hopefully Jake will get his chance but Boyd will probably replace Thaiday.

Finally got to see the game (yay)

Interesting to note how quickly players will revert to playing the ball incorrectly (rolling it between their legs) when the refs don't police it.

A lot of us like the one ref....but this means we also have to be happy about stuff being missed I guess. Big forward pass in the poms first try (a la 2013 gf style) - but I think 2 refs miss just as much anyway.

Sam burgess is an over-rated cat whom seems to have everything handed to him on a platter for some reason. Dual international, captaincy, gf wins and luckily he has a few brothers who always hold a player back so he can punch said player and run away.

Hopefully another win this weekend. (sorry manly fan kiwi's) and maybe an appearance by Jake (?) !
