Last night was the best game I've seen from Thaiday in years. He stood up to Maria big time.

If he wants to bring that form with him, he's our man. He ripped in like he'd taken a bunch of angry pills.

I could be wrong here, and I kind of hope I am, but was it Sam's Father that passed away last Wednesday? "Uncle Bill's" funeral is on next Friday at Woorabinda. I think that contributed to his big effort last night.

Would be great if we signed Elgey for next year. He would be roughly the same age as Hodkinson and DCE were in their rookie years. Hodkinson had a solid first year and DCE was a superstar right from the start.

If we do sign him then we could try and emulate what we did in 2011 (two green halves behind a tough as nails pack) or we could we find a tough 5/8 with some experience for stability in the halves. To do the former we will also need a couple of good forward signings as well.
