I think not, Bani was from Thursday Island or somewhere up there I think so he could well be the first.

They saw him and by chance they told me that he (Ipape) is a very good player, he is very fast and I told them he is my player. They then asked me to bring him down for trial because the Manly Sea Eagles lost their halfback. This is not a confirmed contract but they want him to go down for a trial
