Just been reading that his dad has passed away after a battle with cancer. Condolences to Eastwood for his loss

The article mentioned that his dad was a huge fan of Rugby League, and Manly in particular. Wonder if some day down the track Eastwood would want to pull on our colours

Wasn't sure why that rumour got legs when the Dogs made clear prior to our match with them, that Eastwood was a late withdrawal due to 'family reasons'. Clearly it was the (unfortunate) case and I offer my condolences to Greg Eastwood and his family.

Family reasons does seem to be the growing excuse over there though. And it's not like the bulldogs never told a lie. But sad news indeed.
