Listening to a show called Sports Day Central today and they had Beaver on. They were talking about how well Manly had recruited with Tapau, Koroisau, Myles Brown etc. Beaver made a point of saying "and Dylan Walker as well". Being an employee of the club thought it was interesting thing to say as he may be privy to info that hasn't been officially announced yet.

I really think Beaver would make a great coach.
He is someone who the players would respect and play for.

Possibly my favourite rugby league player of all time and I love him to death, but I'm not sure he'd be a great coach. He just doesn't have the ego for it. I think that's why he wasn't comfortable as a captain either.
A mate of mine was in England in 2008 when we played the challenge cup final. he bumped into the whole squad on the street at about 2am, stumbling drunk. Apparently it was very much a case of Beaver holding the whole thing together, making sure they made it back in one piece, keeping the players out of trouble Etc. Even if not a coach, he'd be great for the team in some mentoring capacity.
Beaver will be doing this next season for Manly.

Dont want to get off topic here but im unsure about that. He is just too relaxed and too nice a guy to be a top coach. He needs more edge, a bit of mongrel, more fire, to be that great coach. Would be good as a support coach perhaps.

I think it is just the 10 day cooling off period. Assuming he signed the day of, or at latest, the day after the formal release was given (last Thursday), it won't be announced until next week.

So pre season is well underway at all clubs, Walker has been released by souths so wont be training with them? So where is he training? or is he taking an extended holiday? I bet his new team mates at whatever club he goes to will love that! They're all working their asses off and hes sitting around experimenting!
My guess is that one has already signed with manly and is training
