He does train the house down, apparently. One of the fittest players in the NRL too. Just doesn't seem to have a lot going on between the ears when it's needed most.

Smart play then he goes short for his prop.. im tipping dce to make some adjustments thanks to dessie and he will win it for us! I wanna see him happy and he's shown enough today to me to suggest he can do it

Yeah it's called giving a damn. We all want manly to do well. DCE has being playing terrible for a while now and Paseka is clearly Sam Beckett looking for a way home. Fingers crossed the boys can turn this around. They are more than capable to beat the Dragons.

When he came on, Blocker said the same thing about him that I've been saying for two years. He needs some mongrel in his game because he plays too much like a gentle giant.

It's hard to defend DCE anymore

His kicking game has been carrying him for the last few seasons and that is now absolutely woeful.

Horrible horrible 5th tackle kicks, so much so that we have not scored a single try from a kick this season. Without a kicking game he becomes pretty much of nnothing.

Pretty much your typical DCE game this season: something good (setting up Joel's try) followed by something bad (gifting the Dragons a try after a nice run), followed by something baffling (dropping the ball every time it's passed to him). Just have to cross your fingers and hope that the good will outweigh the bad.

Clear DCE has no confidence in those around him and is trying to do it all. We will win this if we just calm down a bit and go through the processes of completing sets and building pressure.

Yes, hasn’t des killed his game. Just a link man in attack. Don’t understand it, he can ball play at or through the line yet he just lays it off constantly.

Miski aside, we have the other 4 fit and playing and tonight is no contest.

First 15-20 minutes Manly looked like the 2019 team for the first time this year. Marty on fire. Unfortunate Boyle was injured early. Appeared Saints first try off a forward pass. Lets hope the Sea Eagles can pick it up in the second half. An early try would be good.

DCE was looking good in the first 20 because he was second pass off the ruck.

He had a bit more time and less pressure from the markers.

Keppi needs to be starting for us at least he has some mongrel in him.
Paseka is young and atm just doesnt realise his potential, maybe play him on the edge with his long arms n sht like a lane type player.
DCE needs Tom which is not an excuse for his poor performance lately, he has hardly ever been a super star one man game winner, solid player in a great team (2013) thats all imo, im sick of expecting him to carry us or i should say sick of being let down, so i accept the fact he is a 7/10 half back, love for him to prove me wrong.
