After 2 straight loses this game will be another test of character for us
3 loses in a row will be a blow to our reputation , pride and premiership hopes
Those last 2 loses should now be lessons well learnt so there are no excuses
We might not have Tom, Walker, and AFB
What we do have is the winning Manly spirit in our sacred Manly jersey and we need to ignite it once again.
Fire up Manly !!!

Ben Hunt at hooker could cause us problems. He's far more dangerous there than at halfback.
If we stop throwing wild passes and giving away scrum penalties there's no reason we can't win this. (Well, aside from our poor record in the wet
(and terrible record against St Merge!)
We'll need Croker to really step up, and we need Parker and Suli to play well, they've shown in the past they can make a difference, today we'll need it.

Hope that Manly "s energy level and line speed is good tonight as quite sure that the Dragons will be up for a keen effort , especially for the early stages and they do have a couple of decent organizers . Field position will again be important and for Manly to be at least competitive there . Need better attacking options then the past couple of weeks, still have players who can trouble the opposition , just have to use them better . May not be a total wet track ,so should help Manly there as well . Some indifferent form from Manly the past couple of weeks but hopefully D C E can have another good game and the side definitely regards the match as a must win and to do enough to jag it .

Wet weather
St Merge away

Sorry can’t see us getting close with our current squad and issues.

Nothing is going right for us at present , injuries , suspensions , the bunker we just can’t take a trick.

Hope I regret saying this AND I’m sure you’ll bring this up if we win but it’s St Merge by about 8 for me.

I'll be the first in line to heckle you if we win this, Mark, but I fear you're right. The team has taken a hammering lately on all fronts, and they'll need to fight hard to pull themselves out of this latest mess. St George will feel they can win this and always give us trouble anyway. If we do jag a win, it'll be worth celebrating. Also, go, you farking Eagles!

Torrential rain by kickoff predicted. Maybe we can hope it's called off for another 8 weeks. Otherwise Goons x 16.

I will admit I'd be happier if this was today's lineup.....

Elliot, Taufua, Parker, Suli, Garrick, Cust, Cherry-Evans, Keppie, Croker, Taupau, Thompson, Sironen, Trbojevic. Bench - Levi, Paseka, Boyle, Waddell.

But I'm not there, I'm not the coach and I don't see what goes on day to day with the squad. Des knows a hell of a lot more about it than I ever will.

I coached an U/14 team to a premiership in the South Australian junior league back in 1997. The club could use my expertise right now
Time to update ure CV bro - I hear Trent needs an assistant coach at the Dogs :p
