Really pleasing to break the losing cycle down there last season and hopefully to get the balance right for a strong showing today .
Do need a bit of work on the edge defence but general defence has been largely up tempo to date and hopefully a repetition of that , Not bad variation in attack, so certainly have the where with all to get the result .
Ideally to use Haumole better in attack , Bully certainly unlucky and hopefully for Sipps to really step up to warrant his inclusion
And no doubt also , really have to win these type of games to be regarded as genuine finalists contenders

The St Merge side looks better in paper than they are performing , as I’ve said above , they cannot stroll onto the field thinking they’ve banked the 2 points , this could be much harder & much closer , than many are thinking.

Control the ball, minimise the whistle, match their middle and we will tear them a new one, the Gong Juju is dead to us, we killed that last year and we are, have a much improved side this year, losing today is not an option. After a solid win this afternoon, back up the ladder we go, win well and we could sit on top.

Beautiful day for footy and ideal for Turbo, Koula, Garrick and the backs to do their stuff, providing our defence stands up and the forwards give them enough opportunities. If Talau comes in, even better.

Bullemor unlucky but I think Waddell could've clinched his spot with his effort in chasing the ball last week and scoring the try. Hopefully Sips puts in big time to make up for his absence.

We need to play like a top 8 team if we want to be one. Go Manly!

Reasonably certain we’ll see Talau in for Vaega today.
As mentioned, Ray is playing NSW Cup with Talau back into first grade. IMG_3437.jpeg

We will absolutely demolish these NRL pretenders today/tonight.

I am feeling extra good about this one today. Everything seems perfect for a try feast from Manly.

I think we will score 8 tries in this game.

We could go close to cracking the big 50 if Garrick has his kicking boots on today.

Be interested to watch the Schu today. Needs to really perform well if he wants back in 1st grade but wasn't very impressed with Ben T last week.
