Manly’s abysmal NRL dumpster fire absolutely impossible to watch

There were almost as many mistakes as points in the first half of the Dragons’ clash against Manly on Friday night before St George found some form and secured a thumping 38-12 win.

I’ll preface what I’m about to say with the fact that what we saw tonight was not acceptable.

That said, I saw signs of improvement.

Firstly, Schuster needs to play! Don’t care where, play him! Given where down on back row stocks, keep playing him there.

The front row rotation tonight was spot on. Marty, Tent, Keppie, Mayo, Sippers. I like it! Sippers at least looks like a beast and also looked dangerous tonight. Boyle offers nothing sorry.

Foz and DCE combining either side of the ruck was promising. Mainly did it in the first half and drop ball limited the effectiveness, but please continue.

Plenty of negatives, but I thought I saw something to build from tonight.

Of course Barrett is a dud!
But unfortunately it looks like Des is a dud as well, very sad indeed. The game has passed him by.

I don't think Des has paid any attention whatsoever to the rule changes over the past two seasons and the effect they would have on the way the game is played. Last year we were clearly missing Api yet here we are going into a season without a recognised Hooker.

Last season we were kept in the game because we had the best Forward in the game and were dominant in the first and last 20min of most games while he and Tapau were on the field. We let him leave and replaced him with a reserve grader.

The game has got faster yet we look like we are playing in slow motion. Slow play the balls, no easy meters from dummy half, terrible service from dummy half, no go forward and no direction.

Josh Aloiai, a reserve grader? There goes your credibility. Shame, you made some good points aside.

Hello feathered friend , I feel as sick as any Manly lover on here

We cannot live in denial.
So we must accept what IS .
But what IS Now
does not mean that it IS going to be in the Future.

When a coach and team goes through a defeat their character is measured by how they respond and bounce back .

There is no bounce in us , No new ideas , We keep dishing out the same old from the same selected players No resilience to make a game of it and as a result from our past 12 successive thrashing we are a team with no confidence and have a coach with no answers.
Now this may be only round three but this Mediocrity has been going on from last season .

No excuses !!! . We are all accountable for our circumstances and so is Des who now starts swimming or keeps sinking

The Good news is ...

All things come to an end

These unacceptable consecutive loses are not the end of the hope and resurrection of our club

These consecutive loses will soon lead to the New beginning of the change for the better that always has taken place in our Legendary clubs proud history

The moral of the story ....
Our proud History has proven that tough times never last at Manly
Because Proud and Passionate supporters and Club members
Who are the life line of our Club Always stand by it and carry it over the try line for future success
Our clubs future is in our hands
And we must continue to be the loyal and passionate Manly people that our Club depends on for its revival and survival

At one stage we had four playmakers on the field in Schuster, DCE, Foz and Cust, (with Dylan and others in the background) yet despite the apparent talent on the field, the play required then required Parker to kick ahead and it turned to shi-te
That I thought sums up our attack - Non Existent. What is the go with DCE?
