If we lose tonight, that's 13 losses in 14 games (including a trial). Thankfully the Bulldogs win was only 5 games ago, but if we lose the next three weeks, that's the worst losing run in the clubs history (Panthers are a gimme).

• Worst ever defensive record over half a season (2nd worst in history of any club)

I haven't hit despair yet Mark .. I still believe we have the players to win ... all of them have at some stage proven that they are capable of good 1st grade performances ...

Why they have all fallen into a collective hole of shiite is as confounding as it is debatable ...

But optimism beats loudly ... surely the Gods haven't forsaken us ... and we will win!

We’ll be in Toowoomba tonight taking our grandson out for the weekend as he’s at boarding school and hasn’t been out this term so I’ll be absent again during the game night thread.

I’ll record it , and if we are competitive I’ll watch it when we return on Sunday, if it’s a shellacking that big red delete button will beckon.

there’s fuk all players left playing for their club, they play for money first, their egos a close second and for the few who actually know why they play, to win the GF, I think a lot players have lost sight of what footy’s about and why they play it, if your not going out there 100% committed to winning then whats the point, catch the train or get off.

I hate Friday night games. Now I will have my whole weekend spoiled.

I prefer getting it over and done with, kind of like ripping off a Band-Aid. Then you can get on with your weekend.

Sadly, I don't even feel disappointed with a loss these days. I expect us to lose. Even if we've got a big lead late in a game, I expect we'll be run down. This team has found so many ways to lose games, the only thing that could surprise me is a win.

They remember Ravawala destroying Garrick last year, I’m kind of cringing at the the thought of it too and will be devastated if he costs us the game. kind of thinking suli should be moved out to 5 to get in his road, better chance of stoping him than Garrick, bench Garrick and do whatever you like with the reshuffle, have a bad feeling this is a winnable game and Garrick v Ravalawa will be where it’s lost.

Their spine against the Cows last week were very good. Of course Normans playing well, its contract time. Noticed Paul Vaughn was running hard and getting off the deck quickly for the play the ball, like he used too.
I actually rate Hook Griffen as a coach. He sounds and looks like he’s down to his last dollar. But listening to him on radio calling games when he was between gigs, I really enjoyed his analysis and break down of a game. He actually does have a pretty dark sense of humour. I don’t think they’ll go away from their direct game plan they used on the Cows. Then off that, quick shifts to Dufty, Lomax, and Ravalawa.
Im hoping to see Garrick really have a crack, surely he knows the bells are ringing for his demotion.

One one hand I desperately dont want Garrick to have a good game because then he’ll continue to be selected.
