If we lose tonight, that's 13 losses in 14 games (including a trial). Thankfully the Bulldogs win was only 5 games ago, but if we lose the next three weeks, that's the worst losing run in the clubs history (Panthers are a gimme).

I haven't hit despair yet Mark .. I still believe we have the players to win ... all of them have at some stage proven that they are capable of good 1st grade performances ...

Why they have all fallen into a collective hole of shiite is as confounding as it is debatable ...

Yer and throw Norman into the mix the three of them formed part of the broncos spine for a while, they have played together and it’s obvious there happy to be back together, i read the other day that hunt and McCullough go way back through their junior footy together. And yes McCullough is a tackling machine and even in his twilight years a better 9 than ours.

I'm excited. I love it when 'experts' and 'fans' give up on us.... it makes unexpected victories sweeter and more enjoyable.

I for one reckon we will totally buck the trend tonight and leave egg on many people's faces.

My view of the situation:
We are out of form.

How do you get back in form?
Play games and try things

Tonight we have a chance to get some form back.... and if we can get a few thigs go our wy early in the game (maybe a DCE 40:20 or Dylan Walker take a screamer) then we can get the confidence up. Opposition mistakes don't build confidence.... but pieces of good play from our leaders will help turn the ship.

We’ll be in Toowoomba tonight taking our grandson out for the weekend as he’s at boarding school and hasn’t been out this term so I’ll be absent again during the game night thread.

I’ll record it , and if we are competitive I’ll watch it when we return on Sunday, if it’s a shellacking that big red delete button will beckon.

Fingers crossed they’ll at least have a good crack.

I just can't escape the feeling that Illawarra's centres, wingers and fullback are faster, more skilful and more likely to scored points than our mob. They can score tries from their side of half-way whereas I haven't seen us do that for a long time.
I think if we are going to compete we'll need a stellar performance from DCE who is capable of greatness and is overdue to show it.

Not sure if mentioned anywhere but Harper and Tippytoes cut from squad. So any last minute changes to outside backs can only be Funa coming into side. Seems unlikely so I'd say we'll be 1 - 17 as named.

I have more hope of us winning tonight than I have had for the last 2 weeks, still tipped dragons, but to win we need DCE and foz to stand up.. we need them to drag our sh!thouse backline to that try line... I'm absolutely disgusted to read suli has 11 tries in 68 games. .
Your centres ideally need to be scoring 10 trys or so a season if your team is going to be successful, 11 Trys In 68 games is an embarrassment and isn't upto first grade standard.
