Dragons - Titans - Bye

This will be our best chance in years to beat Illawarra and break the hoodoo.
Normally I automatically write off the Illawarra match as a loss, but I'm a little more confident, especially as the match is not in Wollongong.

I think we have Illawarra covered these days and especially unlucky to lose AWAY to them last time...
The Titans are a funny animal, seem to compete with Manly Every time regardless of the team taking the field.
Still have to feel pretty confident of 2, if not 3 wins here....

I think the next three weeks will be so important for us

Dragons , titans , Bye

Turbo three games u der his belt
Moses , walker three weeks to work each other out in match practice

Some of the sides chasing our final 8 and 4 positions playing each other

Love to have a successful three weeks and get rhythm right to challenge the top figs in the back half of the year , starting with rabbits

Go manly

So do we lose our reps again for the Titans game in the lead up for origin 2?
SOO #2 is a stand alone game!

16/6 Manly play Sunday

22/6 Manly Rep players go to SOO or the Pacific Games

29/6 Manly play Titans

6/7 Manly BYE

13/7 Manly play Rabbids
....

Those 2 points on Saturday night were massive for the season and top 8.

Unless top 2 or 3 teams start smashing everyone, will probably need 30 or 32 points to get into 8th spot this year. Could be 26 points for 8th spot if Storm, Wabbits & Rorters get to 38 or 40 points.

Last year the comp changed from 2 byes to just 1. Positions 5 to 8 all ended up on 32 points and spots 1 to 4 were 34 points. https://afltables.com/rl/seas/2018.html

Counting the bye, Manly have 16 points already. Going to have find another 7 wins from the 11 games left to get to 30 points.

Makes the next 2 games against lesser teams even more important. Win these 2 then we only need 5 of our last 9 to make the 8. I actually think 28 points might get you in the semis this year and 32 points with a good for and against might be top 4. So win the next 2 then 6 from our last 9 could be top 4.
