I think Matai has added plenty since his return,also using Cuthbertson and even glenn stewart on the fringes we seem to have a lot more options than when Matai was missing.Maiai at 5/8 for this season looks our best option,but unless we can make an offer to have burns return why bother signing average 1st graders who are not even traditional 5/8,smith would make a decent utility replacement but if cuthbo and hall cant make our run on side how could we even think of signing bailey  he wouldnt make 1st grade as menzies lyon matai would be preferred at 5/8 because a class player out of posistion is still a better option than a fill in,no dissrespect to Baily but hes not in top grade at newcastle.Id even prefer cuthbo at 5/8 when in attack.if they are genuine about offers try and get a disgruntled burns back surely he cant be happy playing reggies.
