Don't forget Froggy

I watched the match live, and have just finished watching the replay. Every player did their bit. I've read through the MVP thread and many of the game posts and I haven't noticed any praise for the much maligned Froggy. I commend you to watch the replay and note what a strong 80-minute performance it was from him. He tackled everything that moved in a blue and white jumper. He was in the thick of the action, never making a mistake. Perhaps his only misstep was a dud 40-20 attempt but the intention was good.
Froggy cops more negatives on here than any other player but there is a reason Boldy picks him as our first-up hooker whenever he is available. He is a true competitor. He scrapped just as hard as MyHoney did for the Dogs without giving away any dumb penalties.
I thought Froggy deserved recognition for his efforts, which largely go unnoticed by many.

the 40-20 attempt was pretty terrible and there was more than one occasion where he went to run the opposite way that our attack had lined up. Cant expect him to be perfect with the amount of work he gets through in defence but his service and decisions are sometimes pretty sub par.

I thought he was very good as well, played toughed, made plenty of vital tackles, was often the first tackler after a kick chase. Thought he ran when needed and his passing was a lot better this week, just need him to play like that again this week

Yes, a good game from Froggy yesterday.

No doubt the 40:20 attempt was a planned move, as he has done it before successfully. Unfortunately, he just didn’t connect.

There’s no doubt the team value his contribution.

Most of the guys were at Freshy this morning having coffee at Pilu, and all looked very happy.
