Donkeys: Have a side ever talked themselves up so much?

I am going to respond to this without reading any of the posts so far.

Yes, no team have talked themselves up as much as the doggies this year. Saints, 2 years ago. Their fans were relentless, and i live in Japan.

The doggies as a team have actually been quite quiet, their fans on the other hand. My question is, can the doggies go up a gear when the whips start cracking ?

No they can't. They were found out tonight. Sure they had Ennis out, but Canberra kept Barba quiet and that was all she wrote!!!!

Let's not forget Canberra had Campese and others out too.

I now think the Brisbane coach lives in lala land. I get concerned when anyone is talking about the glass still being half full when clearly it is half empty. ;^)

Funny thing about Brisbane is that they haven't won a game since they announced the coaches contract extension.

Betcha the club is happy with that!
