Do we need a 5/8th?

I like that thought of not playing a 5/8 - that's outside of the box stuff, revolutionary. Opposition will direct all their attack to that unmanned spot and we can set a game plan to counter - it'll be as predictable as. Also how often do sides lift when they are down to 16 because of a send off ?? We could be tapping into that on a weekly basis if we go into games without a number 6.

Depends, i mean if you had a 24mm you could probably get away with it, you might do some damage if you went with something slightly larger. Failing that if you had a shifter that would work just as well

What are you on about, 24mm is way too large, you want a 16mm for that.

Blame the board if croker doesn’t work out.

I'm still hopeful that we will sign Carney but I think Croker will be fine with the players around him. If he distributes the ball well, tackles hard and kicks well in general play he will have already surpassed Greens skill set. He is a great runner of the ball so that will add something we didn't have last year. Will be interesting to see how he goes but I really hope we get Carney as that will add backup and pass loads of knowledge down.
