As a legal man, Jason is approaching the situation from a client/counsel perspective. He is apparently assisting Des in his efforts to try and have his vehicle declared 'toll exempt' with the RTA. That will allow Des to save approximately $2,500-5,000 in tolls per year, which I'm sure you'll agree is a lot of money when you're earning anywhere between $450k-750k from your new employers. Otherwise Des will have to take one of the longer, slower routes, i.e. via the Gladesville Bridge, to the Selmore Rorts Ground.

In short, with Jason, it's business. With Jamie, it's emotion.
