In other selection news, Daly Cherry-Evans has escaped serious injury and is set to line up for Manly against the Warriors on Saturday.

The Manly halfback hurt his shoulder five minutes before half-time in his side's 30-12 loss to the Cowboys at Brookvale Oval and did not play in the second half.

The way Cherry-Evans clutched at his shoulder suggested he might have been looking at some time on the sidelines, but with just a five-day break he looks likely to take his place alongside Kieran Foran again in their must-win match across the ditch.

That is a big relief. I hope the club rest him this week and give him a chance to be ready for the Donkeys in 2 weeks time.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him have the week off but if he is ok to go then great.

Expect the warriors will run a lot of traffic at him to test that shoulder.
