Led Dallas to Western Conference Final in each but 'new voice is needed'

Pete DeBoer was fired as coach of the Dallas Stars on Friday.
"After careful consideration, we believe that a new voice is needed in our locker room to push us closer to our goal of winning the Stanley Cup," Stars general manager Jim Nill said.

Keep in mind he got the stars to the western conference final 3 years in a row (beaten by the oilers).
which is, I guess the prelim final in nrl.
He wins that, the stars are off to the final.
He had a 50-26-6 record this year. (win-reg loss- ot loss)
In three seasons with Dallas, DeBoer was 149-68-29 and had the best points percentage in the NHL (665).
DeBoer's teams have made the third round of the playoffs six of the past seven seasons.
DeBoer ranks fourth among active coaches and 17th all-time in coaching wins.
And yet he was still turfed.
Now.... lets look at the record of our current (Manly) coach...... ~cough~
