Croker

For those here who like conspiracy theories ...occasionally I do too, and it wouldn't totally shock me to learn Crokes has been having more problems from last year's head injury.
I also agree with all the comments about lack of transparency from the club, pretty slack to keep us in the dark.
If he was still having problems from that long ago he should medically retire immediately. We don’t need another guy in the squad soaking up cap space that’s never going to play

I'm struggling to recall what he looks like!

.
Certainly was getting battered and bruised at various stages last season on a more regular basis but a courageous competitor so naturally hope that any comeback sooner or latter can work out
The NRL is not a Game of touch
It is a Brutal High Impact Contact sport and it takes courage to play the game
It take even more courage to play the game when a player gives away size and weight
There are Many courageous Light weight small players that play above their weight Like Croker
Some of those players also posses High Quality Speed and Skill
Crocker Unfortunately is not one of them
Since the junior recruitment of Manase Unfortunately our club has not been capable to develop one or recruit one .

Is that 3 months for someone that sits on his pretty arrse all day like me ... or for a bloke you're going to send out to play NRL ?

PSS .. try getting that mental image out of your head.
Fortunately that is only a mental image 😳

Can anyone even remember what the Croker injury was?

The lack of updates from the club on the important stuff for fans is really starting to make The Manly Way look the stuff of Parramatta
It’s like Sam Kerrs ACL. Did it like Jan 24 and still a couple months away!

Maybe it’s time for the club to move on from Croker, he has had a wretched run with injuries, his return last season was fairly poor.

Can you forcibly medically retire someone or must they agree to it?
When you medically retire a player his contract has to be paid out, and depending on the type of injury the club may still be liable for including him in the salary cap depending on the type of injury.
If it's a sudden catastrophic injury that necessitates retirement then the club is able to exclude him from the salary cap, if it's a succession of chronic injuries, as in Croker's case then the club has to wear the salary cap for the duration of the contract. unless the club can show evidence of a new injury.
